{"id":2481,"date":"2015-03-12T16:07:54","date_gmt":"2015-03-12T16:07:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.satisgps.com\/gps-monitoring\/satis-ecodriving\/"},"modified":"2021-01-14T14:10:56","modified_gmt":"2021-01-14T13:10:56","slug":"satis-ecodriving","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.satisgps.com\/en\/gps-monitoring\/satis-ecodriving\/","title":{"rendered":"SATIS ECODRIVING"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>SATIS Ecodriving<\/h1>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">SATIS ECODRIVING is a module for monitoring and analysing the driver&#8217;s driving style.<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A dedicated report shows which driving elements of individual employees have the greatest impact on the amount of fuel consumed and which ones can be optimised, so as to ensure the highest possible eco-rating and the lowest fuel consumption.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Many different parameters are analysed to measure the driving style, such as acceleration dynamics, deceleration dynamics, driving at optimum engine speed, travelling speed, maintaining constant speed, avoiding neutral gear, etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Proper configuration of parameters, individually for each vehicle, reduces the amount of fuel consumed, at the same time contributing to a significant reduction in fleet costs.<br \/>\nHow to ensure ecodriving?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The key factors that affect fuel consumption, wear of vehicle parts, and road traffic safety are:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Driving using low gears<\/li>\n<li>Engine overspeed while driving<\/li>\n<li>Excessive speed<\/li>\n<li>Rapid acceleration<\/li>\n<li>Rapid deceleration (not using the engine for optimum speed)<\/li>\n<li>Lack of steady speed while driving outside urban areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>How do we measure ecodriving in SATIS?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe SATIS system provides the ability of synthetic reporting and assessment of parameters that affect the vehicle&#8217;s low fuel consumption and wear, with more than 50 parameters measured on a scale of 1 to 100 (100 being the highest score) to rate the key driving elements that have an impact on fuel consumption.\u00a0In addition, the system counts the situations in which drivers do not try to maintain steady speed and travel at idle speed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Evaluation of driving on online screen<\/strong><br \/>\nPartial scores are summed to give the ecodriving rating.
