Measurement of fuel consumed<\/strong><\/p>\n A typical problem on construction sites is how operators account for the fuel consumed by the machine. This is most often done by multiplying the employee’s working time by the fuel consumption standard for the machine.<\/p>\n The employee declares that he has worked 10 hours, the machine uses 12 l\/h on average, so the declared daily consumption is 120 l. With the ability to accurately distinguish the actual machine working time from its operation at idle speed it can be easily determined that when the machine physically worked for 6 hours, it was running in idle mode for 2 hours (fuel consumption of about 1.5 l\/h), so the daily fuel consumption should not be 120 litres, but rather 75 litres at most.<\/p>\n Until the SATIS system is installed, it usually remains a mystery what happened with the differences in the fuel declared as collected and consumed and the fuel actually used. Implementation of the SATIS system can almost completely eliminate this practice.<\/p>\n
